Job Scope:
- Oversee the daily operation and maintenance of the company’s facilities, including HVAC systems, electrical systems, plumbing, and general infrastructure.
- Ensure facilities are operating efficiently to support production and business activities.
- Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance schedules for facility equipment and systems.
- Monitor the performance of maintenance activities to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
- Ensure all facilities meet regulatory standards and company policies related to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify potential safety hazards and implement corrective measures.
- Manage utility services such as electricity, water, and gas to optimize usage and reduce costs.
- Implement energy-saving initiatives and sustainability practices within the facility.
- Plan and oversee facility upgrade, renovation, and expansion projects.
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Lead and manage a team of facility technicians and contractors.
- Provide training, guidance, and performance evaluations to ensure a high-performing team
- Manage relationships with external service providers for maintenance, repairs, and facility projects.
- Evaluate and select contractors, negotiate service agreements, and ensure work meets quality standards.
- Prepare and manage the facility management budget, ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Track expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or safety.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field.
- 5-8 years of experience in facilities management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role, preferably in the electronics or manufacturing industry.
- Strong understanding of facility systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building automation systems.
- Knowledge of relevant safety, environmental, and building regulations (e.g., OSHA, ISO standards).
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities to oversee a diverse workforce.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills to address facility-related challenges.
- Effective communication skills to liaise with internal teams, contractors, and regulatory bodies.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM10,000.00 - RM12,000.00 per month
