Job Summary

As an Application Support Analyst, you will play a crucial role in monitoring and enhancing the uptime and reliability of the application systems. Your focus will be on developing systems and processes to expedite anomaly detection and mitigation. You will collaborate closely with the users to ensure the application systems adhere to the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for providing high-quality system support for ERP application modules to ensure business operation continuity
  • Work with users for future implementations and roll outs
  • Providing support and training of current and future IT applications to end user level
  • To provide system training to users and prepare training materials
  • To provide first level technical support to users and perform initial troubleshooting of application systems.
  • Administer and support ERP system including user management, configuration, and customization, to support business operations and enhance productivity.
  • Perform database administration tasks, such as SQL query optimization, backup and recovery, and database performance tuning, to ensure data integrity and availability.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in IT support and management, sharing knowledge and insights with team members.
  • Analyse business requirements by partnering with key stakeholders across the organization to develop solutions for IT needs.
  • Participate in performance optimisation and tuning of existing Node.js applications by reviewing software code and providing constructive feedback for improvement.
  • Stay updated with the emerging technologies and trends in Node.js development.
  • To perform any other tasks or assignments as directed by the management from time to time.

Job Requirements

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or related IT field
  • Must have at least 2-3 years of experience in any IT application support. Exposure to ERP System is required.
  • Familiarity with web development frameworks, such as Express.js.
  • Proficiency with front-end technologies like CSS, HTML and JavaScript.
  • Ability to work under time pressure, manage multiple groups of users while maintaining a positive and patient attitude
  • Good problem solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent command of both written and spoken English
  • Knowledgeable with process/functional documentation
  • Organizes own workload, sets priorities and works within deadlines
  • Excellent organization, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to process assignments in an efficient, accurate and timely manner
  • Able to work with minimum supervision, as well as able to contribute to team development
