Maintenance Technician

As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the hotel's facilities, equipment, and systems are maintained in excellent condition to deliver a seamless guest experience. You will perform routine maintenance tasks, address urgent repair needs, and collaborate with other team members to uphold safety and operational standards. This position requires a hands-on approach, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining the hotel's high standards of service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine inspections and maintenance of hotel facilities, including HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and general building upkeep.
• Address repair requests promptly to minimize disruption to guest services.
• Collaborate with housekeeping and front desk staff to identify and resolve maintenance issues.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment, following health and safety regulations.
• Monitor inventory of tools and maintenance supplies, reporting replenishment needs.
• Assist in preventive maintenance programs to reduce equipment downtime.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests outside of regular hours, as needed.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a maintenance technician or in a similar role.
• Knowledge of general maintenance processes, tools, and equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair a variety of systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Relevant certifications or licenses (e.g., electrical, HVAC) are an advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,000.00 per month
