Inventory Auditor

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular and ad-hoc stock counts to ensure physical inventory matches system records.
• Perform spot checks on high-value or fast-moving items to verify accuracy.
• Document and report any discrepancies or stock adjustments promptly.
• Reconcile discrepancies between system records and physical counts, investigating root causes.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and security of inventory to prevent theft, damage, or misplacement.
• Perform random audits to identify and rectify gaps in inventory controls.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of all stock audits, adjustments, and movements.
• Prepare stock audit reports and provide actionable insights to management.
• Collaborate with relevant departments to ensure stock movement is accurately reflected in system records.
• Monitor and report on slow-moving or obsolete stock.
• Validate inventory transactions, including receipts, transfers, and sales adjustments.
• Any other duties that may be assisgned by superior from time to time.

Requirements

• Minimum diploma in accounting, business, supply chain, or related field.
• Professional certifications in inventory management (e.g., CIPS, APICS) are a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in inventory management systems and MS Excel.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills to address discrepancies.
• Excellent communication and reporting abilities.
• Prior experience in stock audits, inventory management, or related roles.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Willing to travel for business purposes.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
