Responsibilities

Provide support to counsels in managing intellectual property (IP) portfolios, including trademarks, patents, and designs, across United Kingdom (UK).
Maintain and update IP management systems to ensure accurate and up-to-date records.
Monitor and manage critical deadlines, ensuring filings, renewals, and other tasks are completed within required timelines.
Assist with corporate governance tasks, including notarization, legalization, and coordination of IP-related documents.
Compile and prepare IP portfolio summaries, reports, and updates for counsels and stakeholders.
Process IP invoices, track expenses, and ensure compliance with company policies.
Act as a coordinator for the implementation and maintenance of legal and IP systems, providing ongoing support and updates.
Conduct research on IP laws and regulations within Malaysia and the UK to support legal counsel.

Requirements

Possess a Bachelors Degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent.
0-2 years of work experience in intellectual property, trademark & patent (Fresh graduates are welcome to apply).
Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate effectively (essential for interacting with international stakeholders).
Interest in IP paralegal work, particularly in trademarks and related administrative tasks.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
