Job Description: UCO Supervisor (Warehouse Operations) Position Overview: The UCO Supervisor oversees all operational aspects of the warehouse related to used cooking oil (UCO) collection, storage, and dispatch. This role ensures that daily activities align with company standards for safety, efficiency, and environmental compliance, while meeting collection and delivery targets. The supervisor will lead the warehouse team, coordinate with drivers and vendors, and manage operational workflows to optimize productivity. --- Key Responsibilities: 1. Warehouse Operations Management: - Supervise the receipt, storage, and dispatch of UCO. - Ensure proper labeling, inventory control, and storage in compliance with safety and environmental standards. - Monitor and maintain warehouse cleanliness and orderliness. 2. Team Supervision and Coordination: - Lead, train, and motivate warehouse staff to perform efficiently. - Schedule and manage team shifts to ensure smooth operations. - Act as the primary point of contact for drivers and collection personnel regarding daily tasks and schedules. 3. Logistics Coordination: - Plan and oversee UCO collection routes and schedules with the logistics team. - Coordinate the dispatch of UCO to processing plants or clients, ensuring timely delivery. - Address any operational issues promptly to minimize downtime. 4. Inventory Management: - Track UCO stock levels and report discrepancies to management. - Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing UCO volumes. 5. Compliance and Reporting: - Ensure all warehouse activities comply with company SOPs, environmental regulations, and ISCC standards. - Conduct regular audits of equipment and facilities to maintain operational readiness. - Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports for management review. 6. Equipment Maintenance: - Oversee the maintenance and safe operation of warehouse equipment, including pumps, tanks, and weighing scales. - Schedule and monitor periodic servicing of equipment to prevent disruptions. 7. Vendor and Client Liaison: - Communicate with UCO vendors and points of origin to resolve operational issues. - Address client concerns regarding collection or delivery promptly and professionally. 8. Health & Safety: - Implement safety protocols and conduct regular safety briefings for warehouse staff. - Investigate and report any accidents or incidents in the warehouse. Qualifications: -Education: Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field. Equivalent experience is also acceptable. - Experience: Minimum of 3 years in warehouse operations or supervisory roles, preferably in waste management or recycling industries. - Skills: - Strong leadership and communication skills. - Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory tracking tools. - Problem-solving and decision-making abilities in high-pressure environments. - Basic understanding of environmental regulations and compliance standards. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): - Timely completion of UCO collection and dispatch schedules. - Accuracy of inventory records and stock management. - Adherence to health, safety, and compliance standards. - Team productivity and efficiency. - Customer and vendor satisfaction levels.
