Brew Crew Opportunity

The District Manager is responsible for directing and educating the Outlet Managers within their specified district in daily operations. The District Manager will maintain positive company morale and cultivate an efficient operation team of the Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf. The District Manager will provide guidance to Outlet Manager in planning of all outlet operations with the goal of providing customers with excellent quality products and superior customer service to generate sales and a positive environment within the outlet.

The District Manager will represent the Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf in a professional manner and will fulfill any other duties assigned by the Operations Manager/General Manager and/or any other officer nominated by him/her. The District Manager will be accountable in all areas specify in DM’s visit log for all outlets under his/her jurisdiction.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be involved in:

Sales and Customers Service

Maintains a profitable and reputable operations by:

  • Monitoring and managing sales growth with their district, assisting the Outlet Managers on achieving their sales plans.
  • Monitoring controllable store expenses for profitability.
  • Providing fast, friendly service.
  • Responding pro-actively to prevent and resolve customer service situations.
  • Conducting and evaluating customer surveys.
  • Working with Operations Manager/Director of Operations and Corporate Office to generate sales volume growth.

So as to meet and exceed sales target, and surpass customer’s expectations on each occasion.

Store Operations

Maintains an efficient and a smooth operation and work environment by:

  • Analyzing business results and market situations.
  • Approval of Outlet Manager leaves applications.
  • Benchmarking outlets to create a competitive environment.
  • Auditing and assessing outlet performance while enforcing health and safety rules.
  • Conducting weekly operations meeting and formal/informal group discussion.
  • Engaging in daily loss and waste prevention and innovations.
  • Ensuring all operational and personnel paperwork is accurate, complete and submitted on time.
  • Ensuring adequate manpower by for existing and future stores.
  • Interviewing, recruiting and hiring qualified candidates.
  • Liaising with corporate and management personnel paperwork is accurate and complete.
  • Identifying area for improvement.
  • Maintaining adequate inventory, controlling overall outlets expenses as a whole and maintaining labor cost.
  • Monitoring proper usage of equipment.
  • Setting monthly sales forecasts and producing monthly business reports.
  • Recommending methods to help build customer base and company expansion.
  • Organizing staff for new opening outlets.
  • Responsible for outlet management supervision including but not limited to directing of management team, corrective counseling and issuing management evaluations.
  • Working with Outlet Manager to improve problem areas in the outlets.
  • Assisting in overall coordination of catering, events and functions and any workstation as and when required.

So as to create an environment conducive for attaining monthly sales targets.

Employee Development

Retain and groom staff by:

  • Adhering to all counseling and discipline procedures.
  • Providing assistance in developing potential Outlet Manager, Assistant Managers and Management Trainees through appropriate delegation and development plans.
  • Evaluating all store employees on an on-going basis.
  • Leading by example.
  • Managing the development and performance of all store employees.
  • Motivating staff to maintain and serve consistent quality products every time.
  • Orientating and overseeing the training of new recruits to the outlets.
  • Perpetuating company philosophy and culture.
  • Providing recommendations for promotions.

So as to develop and motivate the employees.

Product Knowledge

Delivers a consistent quality product by:

  • Continuing to educate all managers on all products and services.
  • Maintaining the highest quality, consistent product standards.
  • Overseeing drink making and facilitating monthly re-certification process.

So as to maintain the highest standards of products of the Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf stands for.

Store Presentation

Maintains a comfortable, conducive outlet by:

  • Ensuring that the store is clean & well merchandised.
  • Enforcing guidelines on music.
  • Enforcing visual presentation plan & standards.

So as to provide a warm and inviting environment in which our customers can enjoy their world class coffee or tea.

Others

  • Any other duties as and when assigned to you by your immediate superior

Your Ingredients

  • Diploma/Degree in any field.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience at the same level preferably in the F&B industry.
  • Must be willing to travel
