Security Supervisor

(Sungai Petani, Kedah)(1 vacancy)

Responsibilities:

• Supervise a team of security officers, ensuring they follow procedures and maintain a high level of alertness.
• Conduct regular security patrols of the premises to ensure safety protocols are being followed.
• Monitor and control the operation of security systems (e.g., CCTV, alarms, access control).
• Handle emergency situations quickly and efficiently, coordinating with local law enforcement or emergency services when needed.
• Prepare and review daily activity reports, incident reports, and security logs.
• Train and develop security staff, ensuring they are well-prepared for their duties.
• Conduct investigations into incidents, accidents, or suspicious activities, providing accurate documentation and follow-up.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies regarding safety and security.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and effective security practices.
• Manage and schedule security personnel shifts to ensure adequate coverage.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least Secondary School/SPM/ “O” Level in others or equivalent.
• Proven experience (1+ years) in security or law enforcement.
• Strong knowledge of security operations, systems, and protocols.
• Good leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and make sound decisions in emergency situations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to pass background checks.
• Proficiency with security equipment, surveillance systems, and reporting software.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional security or law enforcement training/certification preferred.
• Can work in shift / overtime.
• Physically and mentally healthy.
• Have own transport.
