Role Overview:
The Social Media Strategist will be responsible for developing and executing social media strategies that amplify the university's brand, engage current and prospective students, and foster a positive online community. This role requires a creative thinker with deep knowledge of social media platforms, content creation, and analytics. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education and a track record of delivering impactful social media campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:
· Develop and implement social media strategies that align with the university’s brand and marketing goals.
· Create, curate, and manage engaging content across various social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.).
· Monitor, analyze, and report on the performance of social media campaigns, making data- driven decisions to optimize results.
· Engage with followers, respond to comments, and build relationships with the online community.
· Stay up-to-date with social media trends, tools, and best practices, ensuring the university remains at the forefront of digital engagement.
· Collaborate with internal departments, including marketing, admissions, and communications, to ensure social media efforts align with overall university objectives.
· Manage social media advertising campaigns to boost reach and engagement.
· Act as the university's social media brand ambassador, ensuring consistency in messaging and tone across all platforms.
Qualifications and Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field.
· Proven experience as a Social Media Strategist, Social Media Manager, or similar role, preferably in the education sector.
· Strong understanding of social media platforms, tools, and analytics.
· Excellent communication, writing, and editing skills with a creative flair.
· Experience with social media advertising and managing paid campaigns.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
· Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
· Passion for education and a deep understanding of the student audience.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
