Human Resources Assistant Manager We are seeking a highly skilled HR professional with experience in managing HR within a heavy industries, automotive or plant/manufacturing environment. What you’ll need to succeed Experience in recruiting both technical and non-technical roles including mechanics, technicians, technical sales, key account managers Well versed in the relevant labour laws including Employment Act, Industrial Relations Act, OSHA Strong IR/ER experience, including managing disciplinary issues, domestic inquiries, and also performance improvement plans Has experience to develop and implement policies and monitor compliance Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field Minimum of 5 years experience in HR, with at least 2 years being in manufacturing, heavy machineries or automotive industries Job Summary The role reports to the Director Responsible to execute full spectrum of HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, training and development, performance management, and IR/ER Execute on the recruitment process, from initial sourcing and pipeline building up until onboarding Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations Manage the administration of payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance to statutory regulations and administration of all employee benefits Manage overall performance management process, from setting of performance goals to appraisal and improvement plans, if necessary Manage IR/ER issues, including all disciplinary matters concerning employee’s disciplinary, domestic inquiry and misconduct investigations in compliance with the labour law Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR documentation Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in HR management and make recommendations for continuous improvement
