Project Manager ( Specializing in Construction Consultancy Background)

• Plan, manage and monitor the assigned projects activities so as to ensure timely completion of projects with delivery quality and within budgeted costing for all projects undertaken.
• Manage all project assignments given to project teams so as to ensure the project teams deliver on all project requirements within stipulated plans and meets customer requirements.
• Review all project contracts so as to ensure contractual obligations are met by project teams and liability risks are managed.
• Plan, manage and control the resources of project teams to ensure optimization of resource allocation.
• Build and enhance relationships with clients through timely engagement so as to ensure mutual expectations are met, issues are amicably resolved and thus, leading to the overall effective execution of projects.
• Establish and maintain close working rapport with all parties such as local authorities, internal and external stakeholders so as to ensure approval is easily obtained, and issues are quickly resolved.
• Manage and promote a motivating projects team environment by providing coaching and training to team members so as to develop and enhance project team’s competency.

Job Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent

• At least 10 years of work experience in an engineering consultancy firm

• Experience in large-scale civil and high-rise structural projects would be an added advantage

• Familiar with local authorities' requirement for design plans submission and approval

• Excellent time management skills to ensure project deadlines are met

• Strong leadership and decision-maker, problem solving, analytical skill, proactive, able to work under pressure and strong interpersonal skills

• Well-versed in Mandarin

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM12,000.00 per month
