Job Description: • In charge of site safety protocols, documents, supervise workers. • Assist with the execution of Occupational Health & Safety Requirements on the work site. • To ensure the project site has complied with all the legal and safety requirements. • Conduct periodic site inspections to identify potential hazards to the health and safety of the employees. • Assists Project Manager / Site Supervisor in ensuring safety to be top priority in all aspects of construction work including building construction/conversion, demolition, tools removal and installation, etc. • Assist with on-site accident investigations, emergency exercises, and evacuations. • Responsible for maintaining compliance of the Company's HSE, Quality, and Environmental standards on the project site by following safety and health regulations and procedures, as well as appropriate policies and work instructions. • Prepare and update site progress report to management. • Experience in handling toolbox meetings JKKP 6, JKKP 7, JKKP 8, JKKP 9, JKKP 10. • Liaises closely with Project Manager to uphold safety standards in accordance with local government requirements to enable smooth project execution. • Enforce construction Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) requirements. To ensure all the work activities, procedures and processes are implemented according to OSH Act, Machinery Act and other local authorities on safety and health matters. • Dealing with local authorities for the necessary application and inspections. • Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned. Requirements: • Minimum requirement at least a Professional Certificate, Engineering (Civil), Engineering (Environmental/Health/Safety) or (SSS Certificate / DOSH Green Book / Yellow Book), or equivalent. Preferably with lifting or scaffolding competent license. • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Engineering (Environmental/Health/Safety) or equivalent. • At least 3 years of working experience in the construction field is required for this position. • Understand OSH requirements at the construction site. • Experienced in construction site safety monitoring. • Independent, exhibit strong negotiation and problem solving skills. • Communication skills in English, Mandarin & Bahasa Malaysia • Own transport.
