BHD. seeks a CNC LATHE & MILLING PROGRAM SPECIALIST to help design test our planned upcoming projects with crate dependable, hardworking products benefitting out company’s name • Develop and write advanced CNC programs for lathe and milling machines using CAD/CAM software. • Read and interpret engineering blueprints, drawings, and technical instructions to create efficient and accurate machining programs. • Set up and operate CNC lathes and milling machines, ensuring all tools, fixtures, and materials are properly installed and calibrated. • Optimize machining processes to reduce cycle time, improve part quality, and minimize tool wear. • Perform test runs and inspect first-off pieces to ensure the machine operates as intended and the product meets design specifications. • Troubleshoot issues related to machine performance, tooling, or programming errors. • Adjust programs and machine parameters as needed to maintain product quality and consistency. • Conduct inspections of machined parts using precision measurement tools to ensure adherence to tolerances and specifications. • Identify defects and recommend corrective actions to ensure compliance with quality standards. • Document and maintain accurate records of machining programs, setup instructions, and inspection results. • Collaborate with engineers, machinists, and production teams to develop efficient production processes and resolve machining challenges. • Provide training and technical support to machinists and operators on CNC programming, setup, and operation. • Participate in cross-functional teams for process improvement initiatives. • Ensure regular maintenance of CNC machinery and associated tools to minimize downtime and maintain performance. Requirements The required skills for the position CNC LATHE & MILLING PROGRAM SPECIALIST are: • Minimum 5 years experience in CNC Lathe & Milling. • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. • Adhere to safety and quality policies. • Effective problem-solving abilities. • Keep maintenance data and report on daily activities. • Candidate must possess relevant education certification.
