SITE ENGINEER (PROJECT LABUAN SABAH)

A site engineer's job is to ensure the successful completion of a construction project by managing, overseeing, and guiding the construction crew. They are responsible for many tasks, including: Planning and designing Collaborating with other stakeholders, such as architects, designers, and construction project managers, to plan and design the project Managing construction Overseeing construction work, assigning tasks, and providing training and support Ensuring compliance Maintaining compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and ensuring that the project meets agreed specifications, budgets, and timescales Providing technical advice Providing technical advice and guidance to the construction crew, and solving problems on site Communicating Liaising with clients, subcontractors, and other professionals, and preparing reports for stakeholders Creating schedules Creating work schedules and adjusting them as needed to meet project deadlines Documenting Maintaining detailed documentation of all site engineering activities Site engineers typically have a background in civil, structural, geotechnical, building services, mechanical, or electrical engineering. They should be able to work well with others, create work schedules that meet deadlines, and have strong leadership skills. A driver's license can be useful for transporting materials, equipment, and crew members to and from the construction site.
