Company Industry: Banking Industry Position: Human Resource Recruiter Working Location: 165 Jalan Ampang, Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur Working hours: 9am to 6pm (Hybrid – 3 WFO, 2 WFH) Working Duration: 9 months (until 30 Sept 2025) Salary: Basic can up to RM6,000 (Based on experience + skills) with statutory contribution + leave entitlement Job Purpose: This Talent Acquisition Specialist position is responsible for the end-to-end strategy, execution and delivery of the recruitment process within the lateral hires across assigned business areas. The overall objective of this role is to participate in various recruitment initiatives in support of the overall business strategy. This recruiter role will support the recruiting efforts for Operations teams in Malaysia and in other Asia locations. Key Responsibilities: • Consult with clients to develop appropriate sourcing strategy, such as internal direct sourcing, networking, and using channels • Build a strong understanding of the business and skill set requirement enabling proactive pipeline • Source applicants, screen resumes, interview and assess candidates and provide list of qualified candidates to hiring managers • Partner with hiring managers to prepare reasonable and fair offers for internal and external talent • Plan and deliver on bulk hiring project mandates for the business being supported • Research market and peer organizations to identify candidates, and provide positive candidate experience for internal and external candidates • Provide stakeholders with market data and activity information to assess talent pipeline for current and future needs as well as facilitate feedback conversations with key stakeholders and candidates • Ensure all hiring policies and procedures are adhered to and that “best practice” recruitment guidelines are administered throughout the recruitment process • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency • Use data to effectively manage ageing risk • Contribute to regional projects and process enhancement initiatives working with colleagues from diverse backgrounds Job Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience • 3-5 years of relevant experience • Demonstrated core recruiting and sourcing skills • Experience in hiring for banking & financial services mandates and niche roles is a plus • Demonstrated identification and assessment skills • Working knowledge of compensation • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication • Good Stakeholder management skills • Keenness to pursue a career in talent acquisition with experience working with a global bank Serious applicants may send your resume to [email protected] Only qualified candidates will be contacted for interview.
