Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Welding Technician (MIG) with a minimum of 3 years of experience to join our dynamic production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing welding tasks in line with technical drawings and quality standards while ensuring efficient and safe workplace practices. The role requires strong technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and teamwork to support smooth production operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform welding tasks (MIG, TIG, or other welding methods as required) in compliance with technical drawings and quality standards.
• Examine and measure workpieces to ensure conformity with specified requirements.
• Identify potential welding challenges and implement effective solutions.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, instructions, and welding symbols to ensure precise work execution.
• Collaborate with supervisors and the production team to maintain controlled and efficient welding operations.
• Coordinate with the production team to ensure timely and accurate installations.
• Deburr and grind metal surfaces as necessary to meet surface quality requirements.
• Maintain cleanliness and good housekeeping in the work area to ensure a safe working environment.
• Assist in training other staff members when necessary.
• Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor or management.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience as a welder (MIG welding preferred).
• Proficient knowledge of welding equipment, procedures, and technical drawings.
• Must have Diploma qualification or equivalent.
• Able to read and understand technical drawings, work orders, and welding symbols.
• Sound knowledge of health and safety standards and procedures in welding operations.
• Physically fit with the ability to perform welding-related duties.
• Must have own transport.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with team members at all levels.
• Malaysian nationality only.

Salary Package:

• RM2,500 to RM3,000 monthly (inclusive of allowances).

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday: 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3,000.00 per month
