Job Description
The EM SEA RGM Manager will oversee the implementation of RGM principles within the SEA business unit, aiming to optimize revenue per SU, expand margins, and identify and pursue white space opportunities for incremental and profitable revenue growth. This role is pivotal in steering RGM locally by ensuring robust stakeholder engagement, advancing capabilities through best practice implementation, and, most importantly, developing and implementing together with the local commercial community a two to three years activity pipeline.
Key responsibilities:
§Develop, steer, and commercialize a 2-3 years RGM pipeline jointly with Sales, Marketing, and Finance.
§Lead the SEA strategic pricing agenda in coordination with the GM, Marketing, and Finance, considering factors such as (a- Actual Price Indices vs. Preset Benchmarks b. Commodity Inflation and Currency c. Brand Priorities & Elasticities)
§Define and mobilize Channel/Customer Pricing and Promotion guidelines to realize Brand Pricing Strategy.
§Continuously assess competitive landscape, adjusting pricing and promotion mechanics to remain competitive.
§Pressure test strategic indices through elasticity modeling and make recommendations accordingly.
§Conduct periodic price pack architecture (PPA) diagnostics to identify white space opportunities and recommend adjustments/extensions to unlock profitable revenue growth.
§Review Product/Channel Mix context and evolution to define priority Customers/Channels and/or SKUs to drive intentional mix improvement.
§Embed an ROI mindset by instilling ROI analytical capabilities and ensuring forums are in place for pre- and post-promo ROI analysis to course-correct or rationalize promo spend as needed.
§Assist Sales Leadership in refining the Commercial Policy investment framework (‘Terms & Conditionality’) by Category/Channel/Key Customer.
§Integrate RGM initiatives into business planning processes (Category Strategy, SBP, quarterly financial forecasting).
§Develop and maintain scorecards to track monthly RGM performance, measuring initiatives’ performance and other KPIs such as NRR, Vol/Mix, GM%, MS, and others.
§Act as a change agent by helping SEA elevate RGM capabilities through the adoption and dissemination of best tools and practices.
Leadership Competencies / Qualifications:
3-5 years related experience with Proven Track Record in RGM with Finance, Trade, Category and/or Sales background. Experienced leader preferably in FMCG industry
A Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field is required. A MBA or relevant certifications are desirable. English is required.
Hands-on profile, proactive and agile WOW (Move-Fast) in collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Financial, Trade, Sales and Marketing leaders.
Strong analytical skills to identify opportunities, efficiencies, and strategies. Comfort with data-driven decision-making, especially in maximizing return on investments.
Good knowledge of revenue management principles, pricing strategies, price elasticity, return on investment, NRR and revenue optimization techniques
Effective collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Financial, Trade, Sales and Marketing leaders.
Excellent communication skills and both cultural and organization sensitivity with proven ability to work impactfully across diverse cultures and organizations and manage geographically remote teams.
