Site Coordinator (M&E)

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate collaboration between mechanical and electrical teams, architects, project managers, and other relevant stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of M&E systems within the overall project.
• Assist in the development of M&E project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring that M&E activities align with project timelines and deliverables
• Provide technical guidance and oversight for all M&E designs, installations, and maintenance procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.
• Monitor M&E work to ensure it meets quality standards and project specifications, conducting regular inspections and assessments throughout the construction process.
• Maintain accurate and organized documentation related to M&E activities, including reports, drawings, and compliance records.
• Track and report on the progress of M&E work, identifying potential issues or delays and coordinating corrective actions with relevant teams.
• Serve as a point of contact for clients regarding M&E inquiries, providing updates on project status and addressing any concerns related to M&E systems.
• Identify and resolve technical and operational challenges that may arise during M&E installations to minimize disruptions and maintain project schedules.
• Assist in monitoring M&E budgets, ensuring that expenditures are tracked and aligning resources efficiently to meet project demands.
• Submit monthly claims to Quantity Surveyor by 22nd of the month and assess M&E sub contractors payment certificate.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an M&E Coordinator or in a similar role within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, installation practices, and relevant codes and standards.
