QUANTITY SURVEYOR

Job Description/Responsibilities: 1. Prepare and submit project progress claims, conduct site valuations, prepare variation order claims, EOT claims and any contractual claims including final accounts within specific timeline. 2. Verify progress claims, variation order claims, EOT claims and any contractual claims made by the subcontractors and suppliers including prepare payment certificates to subcontractor and suppliers. 3. Attending employer and consultants meeting, main contractor site meeting with regards to the project matters. 4. To work closely with project team in administering contractual claims such as variation orders, extension of time, loss expenses, etc. 5. Assist to resolve any outstanding claims issues on Variation Orders and Final Accounts. 6. Prepare construction budget, maintain accurate work progress and assist in budgetary control. 7. Preparation of tender document for submission i.e., pricing, taking-off, cost analysis and compilation of tender document. 8. Preparation of sub-contract tender document, evaluation report and Letter of Award to successful sub-contractors. 9. Able to communicate and coordinate effectively with consultants, construction team and subcontractors on all contract related matters. 10. To undertake any other duties as assigned from time to time by immediate superior. Qualification and Experience: 1. Candidates must possess at least Degree in Quantity Surveyor or equivalent 2. Minimum 3 year of working experience is required for this position. 3. Good construction knowledge and coordination skills with sub-contractors, consultants and clients. 4. Required language – English and Bahasa Malaysia. 5. Has basis knowledge of contractual matters and revised cost and quotation if/when required.
