Design Engineer

Job Responsibility: 1. Responsibility to create and developing new products to meet consumer needs. 2. Contributing towards the planning, execution and monitoring of testing a product. 3. Carrying out market research to analyze similar products and their functions. 4. Understanding the marketing requirements for a product. 5. Perform testing prototypes for functionality and longevity. 6. Facilitate brainstorming session on new and complex design of substation equipment structures and gantry design and weight estimation where necessary. 7. Responsibility to modified / upgrading existing equipment. 8. Handling QIR and technical support for offshore team. 9. Any other duties assigned by the management from time to time. Job Requirement: 1. Candidate must possess at least Bachelor Degree in Engineering Field (Mechanical/ Mechatronic) 2. At least 3 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position especially in project management. 3. Proven knowledge and experience in conducting research, designing product solutions, and presenting findings/results. 4. Advance analytical and mathematical skills. 5. Good Leadership skills, critical thinking and problem solving. 6. Respect and understanding for procedures and standards. 7. Ability to learn and adapt. 8. Good interpersonal, verbal & written communication skills, able to communicate effectively and interact with personnel at all levels. 9. Proficient with computer design software such as Solidwork and Solid Edge. 10. Ability to translate design concepts into physical objects. 11. Willing to travel to company warehouse in PKFZ Pulau Indah, Port Klang when required. 12. Any other duties assigned by management from time to time. " No Opportunity For Error"
