Duties of Accounts Assistant
Overview of Job (key duties and responsibilities)
Assist the Building/Finance Manager/Executive to provide proper book keeping and assist in customer service with the main objective of meeting customers’ expectation.
Duties of Accounts Assistant
1. To ensure that all billings are sent out to the respective owners within the stipulated time schedule.
- Ensure timely generation of monthly Billing and Statement to be sent to respective owners.
- Collection of payment, issue and print official receipts for all payment received.
- To ensure that all collection made are properly recorded and allocated into the respective owner account.
2.To provide credit control and updates on accounts records.
- To ensure that all accounting records / data are properly documented and keyed into the accounting system provided at site.
- Ensure timely generation “Reminder” to all defaulters.
- To provide monthly list of defaulters to the Property Executive for his further actions.
- To keep an accurate and updated records of all fixed assets belonging to the site.
3. To ensure that all invoices are processed, and payments made accordingly.
- Match order forms with invoices and record the necessary information.
- To ensure that Payment Vouchers are issued for all payments.
- Timely issuance of cheque payments for all utility companies, suppliers and service providers.
4. To ensure timely completion of monthly financial reports for the Joint Management Committee / Management Council perusal
- To assist in preparation of full set monthly management accounts and assist in any account related works.
- To ensure that all monthly management accounts is verified by the head office accounts executive / manager.
- To liaise with auditors for the annual financial audit report.
5. To carry out administrative duties
- To maintain a proper filing system for all accounting documents.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,700.00 per month
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
