Key Responsibilities:
Counselor Role:
- Provide one-on-one and group counseling services focusing on mental health, personal development, and academic challenges.
- Conduct workshops and seminars on mental health awareness, stress management, resilience, and coping strategies.
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to identify and assist students facing mental health challenges.
- Develop tailored intervention plans to support students’ academic and personal growth.

- Stay updated with the latest advancements in mental health and integrate them into teaching practices.
Preferred Qualifications:Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Mental Health, or a related field (essential).
- Additional certifications in counseling, psychotherapy, or mental health (e.g., Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Licensed Professional Counselor) are advantageous.
Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a counseling role, preferably in an academic setting.
- Prior teaching or training experience in mental health or psychology is highly desirable.
- Experience conducting workshops or seminars on mental health topics.
Skills:
- Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of mental health issues, counseling techniques, and psychological principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a student-centered approach.
- Proficiency in using educational technologies and virtual learning platforms.
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion and professionalism.
