Process Engineer (Korean Speaker)

Job Description: • Extensive knowledge of PCB manufacturing process, image transfer, lamination or drilling, and profiling process (Dry Process) • Extensive knowledge of PCB manufacturing process, electroplating/surface finish (Wet Process) • Have skills to identify weaknesses in PCB process. • Able to perform risk assessment/trouble shooting on PCB processes with systematic approach - root cause analysis, plan & execute for preventive/corrective action, standardization of control. • Identify, diagnose, and resolve manufacturing process related Issues. • Coordinate and execute process, equipment and material evaluation / optimization initiatives and implement changes at process step. • Lead and participate in continuous yield improvement and cost reduction activities. • Process setup to meet Critical to Quality Requirements, CPK, Yield, and Quality targets. • Problem solving and work on the Root Cause Analysis/Finding using 5M + 1E, 5 whys, DMAIC, 8D approach/methodology. • Process FMEA and Risk Assessment on process window optimization (DOE) • Establish and update process documentation as needed: SOP, WI, FMEA, OCAP and Control Plan for related process. • Report any non-conformance/customer complaint issue and develop/follow up the improvement actions. • Performs other duties as required by immediate superior from time to time. Job Requirements: • Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field (Materials, Chemistry, Mechanical, Electrical etc.). • Minimum 5 years working experience in manufacturing processes, with expertise in areas such as Platting, laser cutting, final inspection packaging, graphics transfer, and surface treatment. • Experience in printed circuit board (PCB) and semiconductor manufacturing industry. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and implement effective solutions. • Proficiency in process optimization, statistical analysis, and Six Sigma methodologies for continuous improvement. • Familiar with CAD software and electronic design tools for PCB layout and design. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external suppliers. • Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality, safety, and compliance in manufacturing operations. • Willing to be based at STP manufacturing plant in Batu Kawan, Penang
