Job Description: • Teach up to 18-21 hours/week in the areas allocated by the Head of School / Academic Head. • Work with industry partners or external parties on projects for Project-Based Learning classes. • Attend physical/online meetings, trainings, exam meetings as needed / required. • Contribute to the development of learning materials, schemes of work, monitor student progress, achievement and attendance. • Prepare, update and enhance teaching methodology, teaching materials, tutorial questions, assignments, midterms, quizzes and exam questions every semester. • Upload materials on various platforms – LMS, Microsoft Teams etc. • Manage classes (attendance-taking, submission of module outlines, submission of students’ progress report where necessary, etc.). • Participate in the development, administration and marking of exams and other assessments. • Compile and mark assignments, presentations and exam papers. • Prepare and print out materials for the Module Files every semester. • Address students’ concerns and issues related to modules and personal matters. • Maintain professional relationships with all students and provide pastoral care and support to students. Job Competencies: • Degree or Masters Degree in the Area of study • Minimum - Bachelor of Law • Preferably - Master in Law • Experience within the media and journalism industry. • Experience of teaching for higher education is a plus point. • Industry experience of 2 years and above is a plus point. • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken • Have good speaking skills and ability to manage a classroom • Computer literate • Experience working in a busy and demanding environment • Able to work independently with tight deadlines • Able to work in a team and under supervision • Enjoys interacting with young people and challenging your minds • Patient, dedicated, independent, cooperative and trustworthy • Teaching Permit (Required) Only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
