Duties & Responsibilities:
- Maintain employee records and HR databases, ensuring accuracy and completeness of information.
- Coordinate onboarding activities for new hires, including orientation sessions and the completion of required paperwork.
- Support employee relations initiatives by assisting with investigations, documenting complaints, and facilitating communication between employees and management.
- Assist with benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and inquiries.
- Prepare and distribute HR-related correspondence, such as offer letters, employment verifications, and disciplinary notices.
- Assist with performance management processes, including tracking performance evaluations and providing support to managers as needed.
- Coordinate training and development activities, including scheduling sessions and tracking employee participation.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Provide general administrative support to the HR department, including answering phones, scheduling meetings, and maintaining supplies.
- In addition, they maintain calendars for appointments, sort mail, make copies, and plan travel arrangements.
- Prepare HR-related reports and presentations as needed.
- Support HR projects and initiatives as assigned.
- Maintain compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations.
- Provide general administrative support to the HR team as needed.
Minimum & Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred. Advanced Skills in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Internet & MS Team.
- Works independently, deadline-focused, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and pro-actively.
- Excellent inter-personal skills and the ability to work with: Managers, executives, colleagues, departments, and clients.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to handle highly sensitive and/or confidential information. Ability to react with appropriate level of urgency to situations and events that require quick response.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experienced in the HR Management System. Providing Executive support to all level in a large publicly held organization is preferable.
Education:
- High School/Certificate/Diploma/Degree or any other relevant certificate that may be considered in lieu of a Diploma/Degree.
