Balance production priorities with machine maintenance schedules and tool changes.
Adjust schedules in response to machine breakdowns, material shortages, or urgent customer demands.
Coordinate the availability of raw materials (e.g., resins, colorants) and molds for seamless production.
Plan and allocate manpower and equipment effectively to achieve production goals.
Monitor stock levels of raw materials, semi-finished goods, and finished products to prevent shortages or overstocking.
Collaborate with procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of raw materials.
Partner with quality assurance to address any defects or issues in production.
Track production metrics such as cycle time, scrap rates, and downtime.
Propose and implement strategies to enhance production efficiency, such as reducing cycle times or improving scheduling accuracy.
Ensure production schedules adhere to company quality standards and relevant industry regulations.
