Red Brick Kitchen is a glass house design & port free western café with a scenic nature view of limestone mountains located at Gunung Rapat, Ipoh. We are looking for dedicated Commis cook/ Kitchenhand to support the kitchen team and operation.
Overview of Responsibilities:
- Food preparation : Collaborate with sous chef and other kitchen staff in meeting food preparation needs such as assist to cook/ grill food items to order, chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients, marinating meat, assist in garnishing and plating dishes as required.
- Kitchen Organization : Maintain a clean & organized kitchen workspace in adhering to food safety and quality standard, report any kitchen equipment maintenance or repair needs.
Requirements:
- No specific education or degree required, although culinary training or relevant experience is a plus.
- At least 1 year of relevant experience working or cooking in a western food kitchen.
- Fair knowledge in food ingredients and kitchen equipment.
- Basic cooking skills with good sense of food safety & hygiene practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure kitchen environment.
Working Hours: 9am-5:30pm / 11am-7:30pm / 1:30pm-10pm

Pay: RM1,600.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
Expected hours: 30 – 45 per week
