Job Overview

We are looking for a dedicated Account Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide crucial support in the accounting and finance department by maintaining accurate financial records, assisting in day-to-day operations, and ensuring smooth processing of accounts. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone detail-oriented and organized, who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily data entry tasks, including recording transactions and maintaining financial records.
  • Assist in preparing invoices, processing payments, and monitoring accounts payable/receivable.
  • Reconcile bank statements and company accounts to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
  • Support the month-end and year-end financial closing processes.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation, reports, and spreadsheets for accounting purposes.
  • Handle employee expense claims and ensure timely reimbursements.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Communicate with vendors and clients to resolve billing and payment issues.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
  • Perform general administrative tasks to support the accounting team.

Requirements

  • Education: Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience: Previous experience in accounting or bookkeeping is preferred.
  • Skills:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Familiarity with SQL accounting software is an advantage.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Fresh graduates with no experience are welcome to apply; training will be provided.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresh graduate

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,800.00 per month
