Logistics Officer (LMW/MNC Manufacturing)

Our client, a US-based MNC is on the lookout for an experienced Logistics Officer to join their pioneering team in Johor Bahru. In this role, you will manage the operations of logistics operations, documentation and LMW related tasks.

Location: SiLC Iskandar Puteri, Johor Bahru
Working Days: Monday to Friday

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee all logistics for overseas shipments and LMW operations to ensure compliance with customs regulations.
• Handle LMW-related documentation, including preparation and submission of new application, renewal and monthly reports.
• Monitor the movement of raw materials, semi-finished, and finished goods within the LMW facility.
• Coordinate with internal departments (e.g., production, supply chain, finance) to ensure accurate inventory tracking and reconciliation.
• Act as a liaison between the company and customs authorities for audits, inspections, and queries.
• Conduct regular internal audits of LMW operations to identify and address potential non-compliance issues.
• Ensure timely submission of monthly, quarterly, and annual LMW reports to relevant authorities.
• Assist in the implementation of process improvements to enhance LMW operational efficiency.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in customs compliance and LMW functions.
• Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Well-versed in LMW reports, customs forms, and shipping documents.
