Credit Recovery Manager

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for minimizing defaults and bad debts of ongoing loans.
• Manage and achieve daily productivity standards, including attempts, contacts, and amount collected.
• Maintain customer accounts to ensure they are current and well conducted.
• Contact customers to remind them of payment schedules and obtain relevant payments.
• Follow up on overdue accounts using phone collection techniques, dunning letters, and legal counsel.
• Ensure collection actions are within corporate guidelines and policies.
• Exercise judgment within defined practices to determine appropriate actions.
• Assist in developing and implementing strategies to recover principle from charged-off loans.
• Improve credit policy and analysis methodologies, such as credit scoring and portfolio analysis.
• Conduct field visits as required.
• Coach team members to achieve goals and develop necessary skills.
• Delegate tasks to improve team strengths and address weaknesses.
• Prepare monthly status reports for sales units and management.
• Monitor team performance and provide monthly reports to superiors.
• Review credit blocks and justify supply considerations.
• Responsible for all credit control activities, including accounts receivable, collections, and reporting within the team.

Job Requirements:

• Preferably candidate with minimum of 5 years' working experience from a financial institutions, credit companies or leasing companies.
• Solid work experience in credit recovery activities are preferable.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office application including Excel, Word and Outlook.
