Job Description:
- Assist in overseeing HR functions including recruitment, employee onboarding, and maintaining employee records.
- Coordinate and assist in talent acquisition processes, including posting job vacancies, conducting interviews, and ensuring smooth onboarding for new hires.
- Support employee relations efforts, addressing employee concerns, and promoting a positive workplace culture.
- Ensure proper administration of employee benefits, payroll processing, and other HR-related functions.
- Organize training and development programs to enhance employee skills and performance.
- Manage the performance review process and provide feedback to employees and management.
- Ensure compliance with Malaysian Labour Laws, hotel policies, and industry best practices.
- Assist in preparing HR-related reports and presentations for senior management.
- Foster employee engagement through initiatives and activities to enhance morale and satisfaction.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive information.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of HR experience, preferably within the hospitality or service industry.
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, Malaysian labor laws, and industry-specific regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence employees at all levels.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in HR software (HRIS), MS Office applications, and general office tools.
- A positive and proactive attitude with a strong focus on team collaboration.
- Experience in the hotel or hospitality industry is highly preferred.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive matters with professionalism.
