The Position
We are seeking for passionate student to join us as an IT Intern under the Data Management & Governance team. The IT intern will work closely with our Informatics organization in IT products that requires data analysis and automation capabilities. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is interested in pursuing a career in IT product development, as they will gain hands-on experience in a global professional environment.
What you’ll be working on / Your key responsibilities:
Master Data Ops Support: Assist in the Master Data Ops support for Drug Safety’s Adverse Event reporting submission
Data Quality Monitoring: Help monitor and report on data quality metrics, identifying and resolving data quality issues.
Data Analysis support: Conduct data analysis to identify data issue, data gap analysis, to support business decisions, identify trends, and provide actionable insights. Experience in SQL queries is required.
Reporting and Visualization: Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to present data insights to stakeholders.
Research and Analysis: Conduct research on data management best practices and emerging trends to support continuous improvement efforts
Automation enablement: Conduct research on automation capability for any manual process and may need to perform the development work on it. This is also inclusive of AI content video creation with available tools in the organization.
Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of data management and governance processes.
Support Chapter’s Learning & Development activity: Support the chapter’s learning and development activities by organizing training sessions, workshops, and other educational events.
The ideal candidate:
Undergraduate students from reputable universities in the relevant fields of IT, Computer Science or Engineering.
Passionate and energetic in information technology functions in the areas of Informatics.
Fast learner to practice in basic day-to-day work or projects.
Good communication skills with high proficiency in English.
Able to network with colleagues from other businesses, IT functions and Management on best work practices.
Additional experience in automation, coding or extra IT certification is a plus.
