Responsibilities
- Maintaining Inventory Levels:
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels to ensure that sufficient materials are available for production.
- Place orders for new materials and supplies as needed, coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
- Tracking Inventory Movement:
- Record incoming and outgoing inventory, ensuring that all transactions are logged accurately in the inventory management system.
- Monitor the movement of goods to prevent stock shortages or overstock situations.
- Conducting Inventory Audits:
- Perform regular physical counts of inventory to verify accuracy against system records.
- Identify and reconcile discrepancies between physical counts and recorded inventory levels.
- Managing Inventory Databases:
- Maintain and update inventory databases, ensuring that all records reflect current stock levels and locations.
- Generate reports on inventory status, trends, and discrepancies for management review.
- Coordinating with Production Teams:
- Work closely with production teams to ensure that required materials are available when needed, minimizing downtime.
- Assist in scheduling materials based on production demands and forecasts.
- Supplier Coordination:
- Communicate with suppliers regarding order status, delivery schedules, and any issues related to supply chain management.
- Evaluate supplier performance to ensure quality and reliability.
- Implementing Inventory Control Procedures:
- Develop and enforce inventory control procedures to optimize stock management and reduce waste.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations regarding the storage and handling of materials.
- Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare regular reports on inventory levels, usage patterns, and potential areas for improvement.
- Analyze data to identify trends that can inform purchasing decisions and inventory strategies.
Skills Required:
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using inventory management software and databases.
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with suppliers and production teams.
- Analytical skills to interpret data and make informed decisions regarding inventory management.
Job Type: Fresh graduate
Pay: RM1,298.29 - RM1,936.46 per month
