IT Technical Operations Specialist

3. Job Responsibilities

• Online Monitoring & Alarm Implementation: Monitor the core systems and applications to ensure their stable and continuous operation. Implement and configure alarm systems for early detection of system issues and proactively address potential problems.
• Emergency Management & Incident Handling: Participate in online emergency management, ensuring timely analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of critical issues. Coordinate troubleshooting efforts, track incident resolution, and propose continuous improvements to avoid recurrence.
• System Performance & Capacity Planning: Conduct regular resource statistics, performance evaluations, and capacity planning for the systems. Analyze system performance data and identify areas for optimization to ensure efficient and scalable operations.
• DevOps Implementation & Support: Lead the implementation of DevOps practices within the department to improve overall operations and maintenance capabilities. Promote the integration of continuous integration, application release, continuous deployment, and monitoring processes to streamline workflows.
• Automation & Intelligence in Operations (AIOps): Drive the adoption of automation and intelligence (AIOps) within the department to optimize system management and response times. Promote the standardization of operation and maintenance processes to ensure consistent and efficient management of IT resources.
• Standards & Best Practices: Establish and maintain operational standards, documentation, and best practices for system management. Advocate for and implement intelligent operation and maintenance practices, such as automated monitoring, predictive analytics, and self-healing systems.
• Collaboration and Reporting: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the integration of monitoring and operational tools with development and release pipelines. Provide regular reports and recommendations based on system performance, emergency management, and improvement initiatives.

4. Position Requirements

• Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience. Fresh Graduate is welcome!
• Experience: More than 2 years of relevant work experience, diploma, bachelor degree or above, computer and related majors; Fresh Graduate is welcome!
• Skills and Knowledge:
  1. Proficient in Linux operating system, with in-depth understanding of the system;
  2. Proficient in at least one scripting language and static language, with experience in large-scale system design preferred;
  3. Familiar with TCP/IP and HTTP protocols, with in-depth understanding of the protocols and practical troubleshooting experience preferred;
  4. Familiar with container technology and container orchestration technology, with experience in k8s production operation and maintenance preferred;
  5. Familiar with database principles, with in-depth understanding of common database engines preferred;
  6. Have in-depth understanding of distributed distributed systems, familiar with common open source basic components of the Internet (nginx, redis, kafka, mysql, hbase, zookeeper, hadoop, etc.);
  7. Strong sense of responsibility, proactive, love of learning, and focus on teamwork;
