About the role: Functional Architect
The Functional Architect identifies and details product requirements, business capabilities, and rules. With expertise in relevant applications and business processes, they act as the Logical Solution owner, collaborating with the Solution Architect to design comprehensive functional and technical solutions. This role reports to the Head of Technical Design & Solutioning within the Chief Technology Office.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, own, and continuously enhance the business capability blueprint.
- Collaborate with the Product Owner and Solution Architect to evaluate current capabilities and define detailed customer requirements.
- Recommend updates to validation tables, code tables, and rule tables as needed.
- Create accurate and comprehensive business process documentation and workflows to support system configuration, data conversion, training materials, application support, and more.
- Participate in quality management reviews, including requirement traceability matrix reviews, design reviews, prototypes, and other deliverables, to ensure alignment with requirements.
- Provide consultative guidance and share best practices with the product/project team throughout the project lifecycle.
What would you need?
- Minimum of 5 to 10 years of proven experience in business analysis, requirement gathering, and solution design.
- Skilled in analyzing and documenting complex business processes & familiarity with the complete IT project lifecycle.
- Proven experience managing business and system requirements for medium to large-scale enterprise solutions, particularly in the e-payment industry.
- Knowledge and experience in smart card applications and technology, mobile applications, web-based applications, and back-office clearing systems are highly advantageous.
