Senior Buyer

• Identify and source sportswear and retail products that align with the Original Classic brand image and customer preferences.
• Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and manufacturers.
• Evaluate supplier offerings to ensure quality, pricing, and delivery timelines meet company requirements.
• Collaborate with the merchandising team to determine stock requirements based on sales trends and seasonal demand.
• Ensure adequate stock levels of best-selling products while minimizing overstock of slow-moving items.
• Plan and order products for new collections, promotions, and special events.
• Conduct research on market trends, competitor offerings, and customer preferences in the sportswear industry.
• Identify new product opportunities and emerging trends to keep the product lineup competitive and appealing.
• Provide insights to management for strategic purchasing decisions.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers to achieve optimal cost efficiency.
• Work closely with the finance team to monitor budgets and manage procurement costs effectively.
• Address issues with defective or substandard goods and coordinate returns or replacements with suppliers.
• Work with the marketing and merchandising teams to align product selection with promotional strategies.
• Provide regular updates to management on purchasing activities and supplier performance.
• Prepare reports on purchasing trends, supplier performance, and product profitability.
• Analyze data to identify areas for improvement in procurement processes and product selection.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
