Summary:

The Warehouse Operations Assistant supports the efficient operation of the warehouse. This role involves assisting with the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, ensuring inventory accuracy, maintaining a clean and organized work environment, and adhering to safety standards.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Direct, optimise and coordinate full order cycle.
  • Ensure tracker is completed and well received for various brands for all countries.
  • Ensure transfer shipments are received in timely manner
  • Handle new store set-up shipments such as renovations and/ relocations.
  • Provide freight costings and expenses.
  • Assist the HOD in managing over-all shipping/logistic activities.
  • Request DN and packing details (DG or non-DG) from RDC/CPU for the mode for shipment.
  • Plan and execute Door to Door shipments based on brand requirements for Singapore, Indonesia, Langkawi, Singapore to Singapore (Coach/etc) and East Malaysia.
  • Booking of vessel / truck with Forwarder / Transporter – monitor status door-to-door shipments, customs forms and full documentation.
  • Interact, liaise and manage relationship with other operating department, external vendors, relevant government and regulatory bodies to ensure a high service to customers.

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum Degree in related discipline,
  • Minimum 5-7 years of working experience, especially in supply chain division.
  • Team player and possess strong desire to learn
  • Pay attention to detail and have continuous follow-up with suppliers and freight agents
  • Well versed in customs procedures and other governing bodies
  • Independently able to work in challenging environment
  • Build and maintain good rapport with freight forwarders and customs officials
  • Possess general IT skills, constantly upgrading, guiding retail staff on logistics policies

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM7,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
