We are seeking a seasoned business development professional to drive growth and expansion in our SME financing business.
Job Summary
This role will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive business development strategy that aligns with our overall lending business objectives and targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research and analysis to stay ahead of the competition and identify new market opportunities and potential risks for expansion in the lending sector.
- Negotiate and finalize partnership agreements with large organizations, SMEs, and other relevant stakeholders to expand our lending business's reach and enhance product offerings.
- Evaluate and onboard new lending products and services to diversify our lending business portfolio.
- Lead a high-performing business development team to achieve ambitious growth targets.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative work culture that encourages creativity and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- 10-15+ years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or sales management.
- A strong track record of driving revenue through BD and partnerships (SMEs and B2B Accounts).
- Minimum 3-5 years of high-performing team management experience.
- Great negotiation, stakeholder management, and influencing skills in dealing with senior executives across business types and sizes.
The estimated salary for this role is RM200,000 - RM500,000 per annum depending on experience.
