Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the efficient purchasing of inventory, supplies, and capital equipment for the Company. Receive purchase requisitions and verify for accuracy and authorization (s). Source new vendors when necessary
• Prepare and issue purchase orders; determine and negotiate prices, delivery, and credit terms; buy according to established Company policies and procedures; maintain accurate purchasing records
• Responsible for evaluating, assessing, and selecting vendors based on capabilities, performance, and consistent quality assurance. Maintain rapport and good working relationships with vendors; keep accurate vendor records
• Evaluate inventory reorder levels and quantity price breaks to determine the most economical purchasing of inventory and supplies in relationship to Company's cost of capital. Prepare monthly reports and review forecast of purchasing commitments with Purchasing Manager
• Expedite purchase orders as necessary and ensure delivery of purchased items for uninterrupted flow of service in the business
• Perform new vendor evaluation, a yearly assessment exercises and ensure maintenance records, documentation and filing are in place.

Job Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma Level in any field or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM5,500.00 per month
