Roles And Responsibilities:
1. Liaise with the Program team to determine customer requirements.
2. Analyze customer forecast, Due Lists, Customer PO confirmation and commit delivery date.
3. Develop daily or weekly production schedules to ensure that production and shipment deadlines are met.
4. Coordinate with internal stakeholders to resolve production issues in order to satisfy customer demand and deliveries.
5. Planning the required materials using ERP system and generating purchase requisitions.
6. Ensuring materials order meet Bill of Materials specifications, quality standards can meet required deliveries, and are cost-efficient.
7. Managing inventory issues, updating MRB files & charts for all program weekly schedule changes, and cancellations.
8. Preparing cost estimates and performance reports.
9. Work with related stakeholders to develop new functions and capacity processes and modify existing ones.
10. Manage all key system metrics such as OTD or performance reports and provide support to all ad hoc reports and dashboards.
11. Analyze processes and identify process improvement and enhancement.
12. Ensure compliance with all guidelines and ensure optimal utilization of all resources.
13. Accountable for department / individual KPI and strive for continual improvement over time.
14. Mentor and train other Planners when required.
15. Other related work as assigned from time to time by the Head of Department.
Requirements:
* Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in the related field.
* At least 2 years of experience in material planning, inventory management, or a related position.
* Fluency in English is a MUST and any other language is an added advantage.
* Proactive, meticulous, and a team player.
* Good communication skills and organizational skills (ability to prioritize and problem-solving)
* Strong organizational and time management skills.
* Knowledge of manufacturing processes and supply chain management.
* Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and material management systems.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Basic familiarity with technical specification and drawing is an added advantage and possess the ability to feedback/input during production efficiency improvement discussions.
* High levels of integrity, responsible, independent, fast learner and adapt to priorities with minimum supervision.
