We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Account Assistant to join our team. The Account Assistant will support the accounting department in maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and assisting with day-to-day accounting tasks. This role is ideal for a motivated individual looking to gain hands-on experience in accounting and contribute to the efficient operation of our office
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation of financial reports and statements.
- Process invoices, receipts, and payments accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain and update accounting records and ledgers.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure accurate account balances.
- Assist in the preparation of tax filings and compliance reports.
- Handle administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and data entry.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Respond to inquiries from vendors, clients, and internal departments.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Minimum diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; experience with accounting software is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
- Willingness to learn and grow in the field of accounting.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in an accounting or administrative role.
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., SQL,Xero, Bukku)
- Basic knowledge of bookkeeping and financial reporting.

Pay: RM1,702.74 - RM2,200.00 per month
