Why this role?

As a Tester, you will play a key role in ensuring the safety, functionality, and quality of our equipment. You will collaborate closely with the customer, Field Supervisor, and various teams to ensure successful testing and commissioning activities, contributing to our commitment to delivering top-quality products and services.

What will you be doing?

  • Caring about safety on-site by applying good safety practices.

  • Managing on-site communication with the customer for daily testing and commissioning activities while coordinating with the Field Supervisor.

  • Testing units to ensure they are mechanically and electrically safe, meet internal and external KONE quality standards, and align with contractual requirements.

  • Commissioning equipment in accordance with agreed specifications and commissioning instructions.

  • Carrying out final inspections and signing the final inspection documents.

  • Performing or participating in inspections with notified bodies or consultants and attending customer handovers if necessary.

  • Identifying installation quality issues and deviations, reporting them to the Field Supervisor for corrective action.

  • Actively participating in quality working groups to address snag lists, resolve technical issues, and share information for continuous improvement.

  • Applying lean principles to minimize interruptions and consistently promoting huddle initiatives.
