Key ResponsibilitiesWarehouse Operations
- Manage the receipt, storage, and dispatch of food and beverage products in compliance with inventory control procedures.
- Ensure the proper handling of perishable goods, adhering to FIFO (First-In, First-Out) principles.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse in line with food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, ISO).
- Perform stock counts and reconcile discrepancies in inventory.
Logistics Coordination
- Coordinate transportation and delivery schedules with internal teams and external service providers.
- Optimize routing and delivery schedules to minimize costs and improve efficiency.
- Track and monitor shipments to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
Inventory Management
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS) or ERP software.
- Monitor stock levels to ensure availability and prevent overstock or shortages.
- Generate reports on inventory and logistics performance for management.
Compliance and Safety
- Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements related to food storage, handling, and distribution.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety protocols.
- Train warehouse staff on proper handling and storage of F&B products.
Team Management
- Supervise warehouse staff and delivery personnel, assigning daily tasks and monitoring performance.
- Foster a collaborative and efficient working environment.
Requirements Educational Qualification
- Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
Experience
- 1-3 years of experience in logistics and warehouse operations, preferably in the F&B industry.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and compliance regulations is highly advantageous.
Skills and Competencies
- Proficient in warehouse management systems (WMS) or ERP software.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and move goods as necessary (up to [insert weight]).
- Comfortable working in cold storage or varying temperature environments.
