INTERIOR DESIGNER

• Experience in office spacing planning.

• Prepare and participate in client presentations

• Liase and coordinate with client representative, others consultants and supplier involved in project assignment

• Preparation of presentation drawings –3D, Plan & Elevation, Sketching of design concept preparation for presentation material during schematic design

• Knowledge of using computer applications (Autocad, Sketchup, Photoshop, 3D Max, Power Point)

• Responsible in Research and source for product / materials and technical concepts to support design team on technical issues influencing concept development. (Lead design team to develop design concepts)

• Sketch / Prepare 3D/ preliminary design Layout plans, Detailed Drawings including electrical layouts.

• To Monitor / supervise all design drawings and documentation are checked & verified before issuance

• Specify materials and furnishings, Décor and finishes such as lighting, furniture, wall finishes, flooring and plumbing fixtures. for sample & material board

• Work within timely schedules to coordinate the completion of tasks through to final project completion.

• Conduct on-site observations and provide recommendations to help streamline on going design projects.

• To attend Technical Meeting & site Meeting. (To be Technically sound)

• Able to work long hour to meet datelines

Requirements

• Post Graduate Diploma in Interior Design or a related field from an accredited academic institution

• Preferably with at least 2 years of experience or equivalent

• Fluent & Writing in English, Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia (Cantonese would be an advantage).

• Computer proficiency - MS Office (Word, Excel) typically PowerPoint, Project (Competent), 3D Max, Autocad, Sketchup, Photoshop
