Technician,ETP

GENERAL SUMMARY OF POSITION Responsible to ensure and maintain a high standard of the machines, buildings, facilities and services at all time. To be responsible for all tools issued to individual or requested from the store. To carry out diligently and responsibly all engineering and engineering related work assigned by the Engineering Supervisors, at all time. Responsible for yield, quality and machine efficiency. To be on call if necessary. Must be reachable by phone, all the time. RESPONSIBILITIES & SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES 1. Ensure that troubleshooting techniques have been properly applied. 2. Attends to electrical / electronic / mechanical problems encountered in the shop floor during shift. 3. Performs periodical maintenance as per schedule. 4. To be on shift or non-shift, to assist the Mechanical Fitter in all engineering and engineering-related works. 5. To be responsible for all tools issued to individual or requested from the store. 6. To maintain the workshop and the other place of work in a clean and orderly condition. 7. To carry out diligently and responsibly all engineering and engineering related work assigned by the Engineering Supervisors, at all time. 8. To observe and comply with the Engineering Department and company safety regulation. 9. If required, to assist services personnel in PM, CM or major breakdown. 10. Responsible for yield, quality and machine efficiency. 11. To be proactive and report potential problem to superior and senior supervisor. 12. To be responsible for the shift until the next person assigned for the job arrived. 13. To carry out any other jobs assigned by your superior. 14. To be on call if necessary. Must be reachable by phone, all the time. 15. To be aware, understand and follow the company’s Quality Policy, Occupational Safety & Health Policy and Environmental Policy. 16. To be aware, committed and responsible towards environmental practices in safeguarding the environment and in compliance to environmental requirement. 17. To understand the implications of improper job performance and the need for quality work. 18. To know the company’s GMP, Hygiene rules and other do’s & don’ts. 19. To obey company’s rules and regulations, disciplinary procedures and any general instructions issued by the management from time to time. 20. To maintain a high standard of housekeeping. Requirements : Diploma in engineering or similar 2-3 years’ experience in maintenance. Advantages if from wastewater treatment background. Able to perform hands-on and able to lift <25kg equipment. Knowledge in electrical is add advantages. Familiar with Microsoft excel and Outlook.
