Telephone Operator

• To provide an efficient and courteous communication service. Receives and makes calls and connects to all rooms and department concerned. • To be fluent in English and one of the other languages. • To be able maintain an efficient and good courteous telephone etiquette. • To be able to provide information about Hotel’s facilities and services upon guest request. • To be able to maintain a good tone of voice and distinction in speech delivery. • To practice proper procedures for taking messages, wake up call and other related guest’s instruction(s) for all hotel’s guest. • To report any error or defects of any PABX switchboard or out of order extensions. • To operate and be responsible for the In-house Music System and to execute emergency paging should the need be in cases of fire, bomb threat, etc. • To ensure compliance to the Hotel Rules and Regulations.
