1. Operation 1.1. Setting-up his/her working place as required prior to commencing work and at the end of shift as to ensure enough stationary is available and all equipment is working as per specification. 1.2. Must be able to handle the IBM/AS400 system’s operation (Telephone) and to maintain the computer discipline at all times. 1.3. To handle telephone in good manner using proper telephone etiquette as per task lists. 1.4. To provide guest and staff / colleagues up-to-date information. 1.5. To control music and movie systems and ensure that picture and sound are clear and neat according to available list. In case of problem inform immediately tel. Supervisor/ATAFO or department concerned. 1.6. Is familiar with all international/in-house codes, time zones, charges per minute for calls and AT+T procedures. 1.7. To be responsible for the safe deposit box which are kept by the guest with proper records according to the form in use. 2. Coordination 2.1 Maintain the cleanliness and neatness of the working area. Utilize free time cleaning and tidying work area 2.2 To be responsible for the fulfillment of all guest’s request (whenever possible) 2.3 To report to the Telephone Supervisor/ATAFO relevant guest’s complaints and operational problem. 2.4 Familiarize him-/herself with all in-house guests names as well as new arrivals of today, especially VIP’s, Executive Floor, V2 and Airline Crews. 2.5 To make sure that messages and faxes are re-routed as follows: urgent within 5 minutes and others within 30 minutes. 3. Staffing 3.1 To have complete understanding of and adhere to the hotel’s policies and procedures especially emergency cases. 3.2 To report for duty on time according to work schedule with appearance and uniform are neat and clean and be polite to costumers and colleagues. Be ready to perform other duties as assigned by management. 4. Training 4.1 To attend meetings and trainings whenever requested by management. 4.2 To be knowledgeable about the hotel’s staff, services, hours of operation, country codes, organigrams of Amari Hotels and Resorts and Amari Atrium Hotel. 4.3 Attend monthly communication meetings and training session.
