Material Planning Officer /Planner

A. Qualification 1. Degree' in Physics, Engineering, Management or other equivalent degree with minimum 1 year experience 2. CGPA above 3.25 B. Skills 1. Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications,with hands on experience in MRP being of advantage. 2. Working knowledge of IATF / ISO Standard is a plus. 3. Good Communication and Presentation Skills. 4. Able to speak Mandarin is an added advantage. C. Requirement 1. A good team player in executing production plans & follow up with customers and suppliers. D. Responsibility 1. Reports to Materials Department Assistant Manager. 2. Receives Customer PO & updates Summary List. Prepares Purchase Requisition upon confirmation of customer PO. 3. Update Material Planning List . Prepares Production Plan and updates Customer PO Summary List. 4. Updates Incoming Check List based on Production Plan. Liase with Storehand on Planned Incoming parts. 5. Updates Monthly Production/Delivery Schedule. 6. Participate in Weekly Production Meeting & update all concerned on 'short parts' affecting planned production. 7. Conduct Inventory cycle count in Stores & report status to DH. Submit month end Stock Inventory Balance to management. 8. Liase with customers & arrange with freight forwarders for timely delivery of Finished Goods. 9. Liase with customers on issues affecting Planned & Scheduled Deliveries of FG. Update Goal Charts based on KPI. 10. Interact with Production and Product Development team to ensure efficient scheduling of Production. 11. Prepares monthly 'Sales Report & 'Delivery Attainment Goal Charts. 12. Conduct regular reviews of material demand and supply patterns to identify trends and make necessary adjustments. 13. Maintain accurate records of inventory and ensure it aligns with physical stock. 14. Manage material flow to ensure inventory is maintained at optimal levels to support production requirements. 15. Prepare and present detailed reports on material and inventory management. 16. Follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time deliveries and resolve any supply issues promptly. 17. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. 18. To perform other job functions deemed necessary by DH & Management.
