Position: Head Chef Location: Sri Petaling, KL Responsibilities: Develop and create innovative menus that blend Western and Asian flavours to delight our customers. Lead and manage the kitchen team, ensuring smooth daily operations and a cohesive work environment. Oversee food preparation, presentation, and quality control to maintain high culinary standards. Monitor inventory, order supplies, and ensure cost-effective kitchen operations. Train, mentor, and develop team members to enhance their skills and ensure adherence to hygiene and safety standards. Adapt to changes and maintain flexibility in a dynamic work environment. Collaborate with management to align kitchen operations with business goals and contribute to sales growth. Requirements: Proven experience as a Head Chef or Sous Chef with aspirations to become a Head Chef. More than 5 years' expertise in Western cuisine with the ability to create fusion dishes incorporating Asian flavours. Strong menu creation skills and an innovative approach to culinary design. Leadership abilities to effectively manage and inspire a team. Business and sales-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering customer satisfaction. Adaptable, flexible, and open to change in a fast-paced environment. Portfolio of culinary creations. REQUIREMENTS: REMUNERATION PACKAGES: Basic: RM 5,000 - RM 7,000 EPF, SOCSO, EIS Benefit: Annual Leave, Bonus- year end bonus with at least 1 year service Opening Hours: Tues to Sun: 11am to 3pm/ 5pm to 10pm Monday: Closed Outlet Opening Hours/Days: 9 hours per day; 1 hour break 6-day work per week Working Hours: 45 hours per week (scheduled timetable)
