Job Description:
- Develop traffic management plans that comply with relevant regulations and guidelines, taking into consideration road conditions, traffic volumes, and the needs of all road users.
- Ensure that traffic management plans are communicated effectively to stakeholders, client, including contractors, workers, and the public.
- Supervise the replacement and removal of traffic control equipment, including barriers, signs, and traffic lights, to ensure that they are installed correctly and meet safety standards.
- Ensure that equipment is maintained and repaired as necessary.
- Conduct monthly inventory inspection for materials / equipments of project.
- Supervise the use of traffic control equipment, ensuring that it is used correctly and safely.
- Provide training to workers on the proper use of traffic control equipment and the materials relating to the work carried out.
- Monitor the effectiveness of traffic management plans, making adjustments as necessary to ensure that they remain effective.
- Conduct regular reviews of traffic management plans and provide feedback to stakeholders.
- To monitor the activities of the employees related to traffic management and improve the safety and level of service.
- Oversee all of the movement of traffic control project managed by the company.
- To prepare and implement emergency procedures and to ensure that they meet the requirements established by any health and safety policy of the company / client.
- Prepare weekly and monthly 1. Traffic Management Safety Report (TMSR), detailing any incidents or near misses that have occurred.
- Provide recommendations for improving safety in future traffic management plans.
Job Requirements:
- Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
- Min 3 years experience in traffic management or related field.
- Experience in designing and implementing traffic management plans is preferred.
- Experience in supervising and training traffic controllers is preferred.
- Experience in infrastructure highway is an added advantage.
- Applicants must be able to work in Ijok, Kuala Selangor.
- Applicants must be able to work on Saturday (8AM - 1PM).
